Plan

Your running week, ready to go.

Schedule sessions in the calendar, one at a time or across several days at once. Or let Unskipped build a plan for your race: pick the distance, date and goal time, and the weeks fill themselves in, with volume that builds gradually, a recovery week every fourth week and a taper before race day.

  • Your calendar at a glance. Week, month or list, with plan weeks highlighted. Drag a session to move it.
  • Guided plans. First 5K, half marathon and marathon, with paces worked out from your recent times.
  • One tap and they’re on your calendar. “Apply to calendar” creates every session in the plan, each with its own reminder.
  • Always editable. Change any session whenever you like, or start from a blank plan and build your own.

Plan on iPhone. Find it on your wrist.

Sessions for the next seven days show up on their own in the Workout app on Apple Watch, the one you already have, with every step and target. No need to send them one by one: move or edit a session and your Watch updates too.

Every day the seven-day window moves forward by one day, so next week’s sessions reach your Watch as the days go by, even in the background.

PlanIn the calendar or with a race plan.
SyncWhen you open the app, whenever something changes and once a day in the background.
RunYour Watch alerts you when you drift out of your pace or heart rate range.

When you’re done, Unskipped finds the run in Health and matches it to the session, interval by interval.

Create

A 6×800 in under 30 seconds.

Build your workout step by step: warm-up, work, recovery, cool-down. Group intervals into a Repeat block, duplicate, drag to reorder. The intensity profile, duration and distance update as you go.

  • Precise targets. Pace, heart rate, heart rate zone, power and cadence, each with a minimum and maximum.
  • Paces relative to yours. “Threshold +2%” becomes an exact pace, based on yours when the session is sent, and keeps up as you improve.
  • Ready-made presets. 10×400 m, pyramid, 30/30 fartlek, 6×1000 m at threshold, 3×2 km progression.
  • Names write themselves. “Intervals 6×800 m”, “Threshold 3×10′”, “Long run 18 km”.

What could you run today?

Race predictions apply Daniels’ VDOT model to your runs from the last 12 weeks, read from Health. For the marathon you can compare them with Riegel’s formula. For every interval you see the target range and the pace you actually held.

  • Personal bests. From 400 m to the marathon, found within every run from the past year.
  • Volume and stats. Weekly distance, the average over the period, and the last 12 months with elevation gain.
  • Estimates, not promises. Every prediction shows which run it comes from and how recent it is.
